As a surface level chess player, I believed that the King's Gambit was basically trash. I'm glad you addressed that right out of the gate.

I would gladly watch your whole speedrun series if you kept playing 5|0 games like in this one. It's just too long when you play 15 or even 10-minute games and explain every step. I think it is totally fine if you give a short explanation of your moves during the game and then a deeper analysis of your thought process after the game.

Can anyone comment on the Chessable course he mentioned? I think it was Tame the Sicilian by Kasimdzhanov and Ganguly? Has Danya said he prefers this to the one by the young GM Christiansen The High Pressure Alapin Sicilian? (There's an even newer one too called The Vigorous Alapin Sicilian, but that one seemed a little bit offbeat ar least from my assessment watching the free video.) I'm loving these Danya games about the Alapin, and in several of the other videos he talks about the Khalifman book as a reference. I need to watch more of these Danya c3 videos, but was also interested in supplementing with a reference too beyond that.

Instead of d6, d5 wasn't as bad as you say, it's actually the main line in this position : exd5 a6!, Nc3 Nf6 and white can't hold d5. Whoops, my bad, you explained it later.
